Species, forms, and your collection
Choose the exact form you mean, then track species and forms separately.
Start with a species, then choose a form
A species is the group shown on a field guide card. Its detail page has a separate tab for every published form. Select a tab before reading the stats, abilities or habitats: those records belong to that exact form. A shared species name does not make all of its forms interchangeable.
Use the form link when you share
Each form tab has its own anchor in the page URL. Copy the address after selecting a form to send someone directly to it. For a closer comparison, select Compare form on the profile, add another form in the comparison tool, and copy the comparison link.
Keep the two checklists separate
Mark species collected when you want to count that species in your checklist. Mark individual forms to record which versions you have. Marking a form does not automatically mark the species, and clearing a species does not erase its forms. This gives you control over what each counter means.
Treat evolution diagrams as source references
An evolution diagram can show a related name without identifying the exact form or giving a condition. The guide retains those names and flags unspecified conditions. A line between two names does not establish a level requirement, item recipe or confirmed unlock procedure.
