COMBAT FIELD GUIDE

Choose the right element for your next fight.

Start with the element of the move you plan to use, then check the target’s element. A companion’s own element does not tell you the element of every skill it can use.

The complete element chart

Rows are attacking moves; columns are defending elements. Read across a row to choose your attack, or down a column to find a target’s weaknesses.

Strengths and weaknesses by element

Attacking and defending are separate checks. Being strong against an element does not automatically mean you resist its attacks.

Put the chart to work

  1. Check the skill first

Use the element listed on the move, not just the badges on your companion. Open its skill page to check the effect and the forms that can use it.

  2. Check the exact enemy form

Forms of the same Aniimo can have different elements. For a dual-element target, check both elements; the table shows each single-element pairing separately.

  3. Read the factor in context

1.6× is a 60% increase to the element factor; 0.625× is a 37.5% reduction compared with 1×. Stats, skill power, buffs and other combat rules still affect the damage you see.

Two matchups that are easy to misread

Water attacks are strong against Fire (1.6×), but Fire attacks are resisted by Water (0.625×). Switch the attack and defence selectors to check the reverse direction.

Light and Dark attacks are strong against each other (1.6× in both directions). An offensive advantage can still leave your own companion vulnerable.

Common questions

Where is the chart in the game?

Open Aniimo management and select the element icon below an Aniimo’s name to view elemental relationships.

Is this a damage calculator for dual-element Aniimo?

No. The checker shows one move element against one defending element at a time. Check both badges on a dual-element form; do not treat either individual result as its combined or final damage multiplier.

Are Light and Lightning the same element?

No. Light and Lightning have separate rows and different matchups. Earth is also its own element; use the names shown here when choosing a companion or skill.

Does the largest base-stat average guarantee the best counter?

No. The six-stat average is a comparison aid. Match the move element to the target, then consider the skill’s effect, power, energy cost and the companion’s role.

Based on the installed game client, version 3551601. The chart covers the nine displayed combat elements. Game updates can change these relationships. How we source the guide →
